Testing Information

TMSA participates in all state-mandated tests. The calendar is updated as testing dates are finalized.

The state of North Carolina pays for every 11th grader to take the ACT once at their school. The test is free and scores can be sent to colleges or universities.

Students should aim to begin ACT and/or SAT testing in the middle of their junior year. This allows students time to improve their scores before applying to colleges.
