Dear TMSA Families,

I want to provide an update after last night’s board meeting. TMSA Board of Directors did not approve the proposed "In-Person Instruction Plan" for the students who want to return to schools. However, after a decisive vote (three yeas, one nay, and one abstention), the Board decided that:

  • All the teaching and non-teaching staff will have to return to the buildings for work starting March 1, 2021.
  • Both Triad and Triangle will bring the students, who are at risk of failing, back to the school buildings starting March 15, 2021, while the rest of the students will remain remote.

Each school will communicate the details of the plan with you in due course. Please be in close communication with your school.

I am fully aware of the challenges ahead of us in implementing this plan. However, I know that our buildings are ready to welcome students in accordance with CDC and state health guidelines against COVID-19. And with our dedicated staff, we will be able to overcome any unforeseen hurdles along the way and ensure that every child is provided with the high-quality learning experience that they deserve.

I share my heartfelt appreciation to the TMSA Board members for their visionary leadership and thank you all for your continued support and understanding in a year fraught with so many challenges.

Looking forward to a brighter future,

Ben Karaduman
